The Tale of Santiago, The Strong Bull: Taurus

The strongest bull in Spain has one stubborn dream, and the whole village says it is impossible.

Santiago can push the biggest rocks and pull the tallest trees, but heavy lifting was never what he wanted. He wants to find the lost gold of the Capitana galleon, said to lie buried somewhere in the Spanish countryside. So while the villagers laugh and call it a wild goose chase, Santiago does what a bull does best: he shows up. Cave after cave, from first light to dusk, he keeps searching, even when a giant blocks his path and a riddle nearly stops him for good.

This is a story about the quiet kind of strength, the sort that wins by refusing to quit rather than by being the loudest in the room.
